Welcome to Day 14 of your 21-Day Challenge

Lesson 14:  Air It Out

Air IT Out and get Happy!

Lesson 14:  Air It Out

In our last lesson you fed your mind. In today’s lesson, you will feed your body!

Air out your mind and feed your body through aerobic exercise.  According to medical studies, when you exercise, your body releases chemicals such as dopamine (pronounced doh-pa-meen) and endorphins (en-door-fins) in your brain that make you feel happy.  Air out your mind from all of the things that make you feel stressed.

Air It Out and get Happy!

Aerobic exercise is good for your mind and body and soul.  It relieves stress, anxiety, and frustration.

What parts of your body do you carry stress?  How do you relieve your body and mind from stress?  Do you feel tightness in any part of your body?  Do you feel overwhelmed, stressed, frustrated or anxious about something?  Well, Air-IT out.

Our daily routines naturally cause wasteful buildup. Physical activities help to break it up.

Assignment:

Get up and get moving!  Get that heart pumping!  You can do some jumping jacks, run in place, or take a stroll outside.  Walk a little, jog a little.  The key is to increase your heart rate.  Take a few deep breathes to expand your lungs.  If you are outside, remember to breathe in the fresh air with a few intentional “inhales and exhales.”

Drink plenty of water to hydrate your body!
