Acceptance

Lesson 12:  Acceptance

Acceptance is the action or process of being received as adequate or suitable, typically to be admitted into a group. Per Webster, it is the act of accepting something or someone: the fact of being accepted: approval acceptance of responsibility.

In this lesson, we will look at acceptance from a timing perspective.  Acceptance of who you are and where you are right now while preparing during your waiting period.
Some things will just take time and not happen right away or when you want them.  This is where acceptance comes in to play.

You are not in control of time, but you can control what you do with your time!

Be encourage during the acceptance of your waiting season. Here are a few biblical scriptures for reflection and to calm your heart.

Habakkuk 2:3For the vision is yet for the appointed time (in the future). It hurries toward the goal [of fulfillment]; it will not fail. Even though it delays, wait [patiently] for it, because it will certainly come; it will not delay.”

Habakkuk 2:3 – Amplified Version

A Psalm of David – 37:3-8 (NKJV)

Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His Faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, …Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret – it only causes harm.

A Psalm of David – 37:3-8 (NKJV)
