At the beginning of a new year, many of us start out the gate running full speed ahead towards the achievement of our goals. Now that its July 2017 how do you feel? You have been on this 2017 marathon for seven months now and your momentum may have changed for one reason or another. It could be that your heart has become a little faint due to lack of seeing desired results. Or maybe your pace has slowed down due to exhaustion from multi-tasking or from running full out. Now is the perfect time to experience a Second Wind.
Wikipedia states that a “Second Wind is a phenomenon in distance running, such as marathons or road running (as well as other sports), whereby an athlete who is too out of breath and tired to continue suddenly finds the strength to press on at top performance with less exertion.”
When you get a second wind, you can go forward with the same momentum that you had when you started your course, with less exertion. That is a powerful propelling force!
Here are a few things that you can do to help give yourself a second wind that will provide endurance to accomplish your goals at a healthy pace throughout the end of the year.
